ULTRA CUT 100% Lambswool Polishing Pad – 150 mm

On paintwork with noticeable scratches, oxidation or sanding marks, the first step is controlled cutting with an appropriate compound and pad. ULTRA CUT uses 100% lambswool for this high-cut stage. During paint correction, it reduces the appearance of surface defects and prepares the finish for finer polishing.

Its 150 mm working size is used on orbital polishers with a compatible backing plate. It can also be used on rotary machines after checking plate compatibility and application conditions. Choose the compound, machine settings and pressure according to the paint's condition to make proper use of the lambswool's working characteristics.

Available in orange and white, ULTRA CUT is designed for the cutting stage. As scratches vary in depth, results depend on paint thickness, the defect and the process. Start with a small test area, monitor surface temperature and clean the pad regularly as you work. When needed, complete the final appearance with a suitable finishing pad.

Use and Care

1. Start with a small test area on clean, cool, dry paintwork.
2. Check machine, backing plate and compound compatibility; select the speed according to the products being used.
3. Avoid excessive pressure and prolonged work in one spot. Monitor both surface and pad temperature.
4. Clean the pad regularly as you work. Refine the finish with a suitable finishing pad if needed.
5. Clean the pad after use and leave it to dry naturally.
