How should a drying towel be washed?

Check the towel’s own washing instructions first. MAMBA’s description specifies machine washing at up to 30 °C. FIBER microfiber detergent also specifies washing at 30 °C, with dosage based on the number of cloths. Follow both the detergent and towel instructions.

How do wash mitts and sponges differ?

CHROMITT combines a microfiber outer surface, an internal sponge and a mitt with a wrist cuff. MAMBAPAD is a wash sponge with a chenille microfiber surface. Compare the texture, grip and intended use; do not rank different shapes by GSM alone.

Can a wash mitt scratch my car?

What is an applicator used for?

What is a tyre-dressing brush used for?

How to choose microfiber and car care products

Drying, glass cleaning, contact washing and interior cleaning are different tasks. The weave of a cloth, the grip of a wash mitt and the cleaner’s suitability for the surface need to be considered together. When comparing SmartBee products, look beyond GSM or the product name: check dimensions, fabric construction and instructions. Drying towels: GSM, dimensions and fabric construction

GSM is the weight in grams of one square metre of fabric. On its own, it does not describe a towel’s total weight, thickness or quality. MAMBA, for example, is a 50 × 70 cm, 1000 GSM double-layer towel combining Twisted Pile and plush microfiber textures. The 60 × 90 cm, 1300 GSM REİS is an option with different dimensions and construction. Rather than ranking these towels by their GSM numbers alone, consider where you will use them and how you want to handle them.

Consider the overall size for broad body panels and the folded size for smaller areas. Double-layer, edgeless and Twisted Pile describe different features; no single feature replaces the others. Read the dimensions, texture and washing information together. Keep a towel assigned to drying separate from a cloth used to apply a finishing product.

A mitt or a sponge for contact washing?

CHROMITT is a wash mitt with a microfiber outer fabric and an internal sponge. Its wrist-cuff shape offers a grip option for people who prefer wearing their washing tool. MAMBAPAD is a wash sponge with a chenille microfiber surface. The choice is about more than appearance: mitt shape, sponge thickness, surface texture and grip all affect how you work. Instead of applying every drying-towel selection criterion to a wash mitt, check that the product is intended for contact washing.

Hard particles trapped between the surface and the washing tool can create a risk of scratches. Being made of microfiber does not make a dirty mitt risk-free to use. Think about preliminary cleaning, clean equipment and a suitable shampoo together. Checking the mitt and cleaning dirty equipment before reusing it are working habits, separate from the product you choose.

Different jobs for different shampoos

ACTIVE is a concentrated snow foam shampoo used before contact washing. CARE is a pH-neutral concentrated contact-wash shampoo. BRIGHT has a different role as a hydrophobic wash-and-wax shampoo. Products appearing in the same category do not necessarily use the same method or dilution. Start by deciding whether you are applying foam for a pre-wash or carrying out contact washing with a mitt, then compare the product descriptions.

For concentrates, dilution depends on the product instructions and the equipment. Do not transfer a ratio you remember from another shampoo. Read the separate instructions for a foam attachment, a foam tank or contact washing. Rinsing after application is also part of using the product. The appearance of the foam alone is not enough to decide which shampoo fits your routine.

Separate cloths for glass, mirrors and the interior

Removing a fingerprint from glass is different from taking wash water off bodywork. SHINE is one of the microfiber cloth options for glass and mirrors, with different sizes in the range. The 50 × 70 cm SHINE, for example, is 300 GSM. When choosing a glass cloth, consider its texture, dimensions and intended area, as well as thickness. Working with a folded cloth around a small mirror calls for a different grip from wiping a large window.

For interior cleaning, INTERIOR offers a separate 40 × 40 cm, 300 GSM cloth. Assigning cloths to glass, interior trim and finishing products makes it easier to keep track of what each cloth has been used with. For a multimedia screen or a special coating, follow the cleaner’s instructions and the surface manufacturer’s guidance as well as considering the cloth.

Wheel cleaning, iron particles and tyre care

EXTRACT is a wheel and tyre cleaner. LAVA is a pH-neutral reactive iron particle remover for a different cleaning task on bodywork and wheels. Neither role is the same as a tyre dressing: SILKY is a matte-satin tyre care product used after cleaning. Begin your selection by distinguishing the surface you need to clean from the care step you want to carry out afterwards.

The EXTRACT and LAVA descriptions include instructions about cool surfaces, dwell time, rinsing and not letting the product dry on the surface. LAVA has separate instructions for bodywork and wheels and should not be applied in direct sunlight. Read the current label instead of using one dwell time for every wheel product. An applicator brush such as SILKY BRUSH spreads tyre dressing; it does not replace the wheel-cleaning stage.

Interior trim, tight spaces and leather

SOFTY Long is a synthetic-bristle detailing brush with a length of 19 cm and a 30 mm brush-head diameter. It can be used for controlled work around vents, console joints and narrow areas of interior trim. Choose the head size and reach for the area you want to access. Work with a clean brush and light movements; when a cleaner is needed, follow the instructions of a product suitable for the surface. Soft bristles do not make one cleaner suitable for every finish.

INFINITE concentrate, foaming spray and foaming pump versions are different products. Do not automatically apply the concentrate’s dilution instructions to the others. For leather, LEATHER CARE KIT brings together cleaning with Leather Foam and care with Leather Lotion once the surface is completely dry. Quick detailers, applicators and finishing cloths

Its instructions specify a clean, dry surface, microfiber application and steps concerning contact with water afterwards. Follow those instructions rather than borrowing the method for a different coating process based on the product name.

An applicator is selected to spread a product; a finishing cloth is chosen for wiping or finishing according to that product’s instructions. SHALE and RUFUS are 40 × 40 cm, 320 GSM microfiber finishing cloths. Consider construction and edge style alongside GSM. Choose a microfiber or foam applicator to suit the product being applied. A pad used for tyre dressing has a different job from a glass cloth or a drying towel. Knowing what each item is assigned to makes preparation easier.

Cleaning microfiber equipment for its next use

The care routine continues after the vehicle is clean. Removing product residues from cloths and towels prepares the equipment for its next use. FIBER is a microfiber care detergent designed to clean wax, oil and dirt residues from cloths; it contains no bleach or fabric softener. Its description gives dosage guidance based on the number of cloths and washing instructions at 30 °C. The words care or restoration in a product name are not a guarantee that physically damaged fibres will return to their original condition.
